I know this isn't all of the great movies from both decades, I just wanted to name a few. But anyway guys (and some of u gals) what u think? I'm leaning towards the 80s but damn the 90s is looking so good

I prefer the 80s movies. Just mindless violence with plots that may or may not make sense. Seems like the 90s action flicks were more comedy oriented as well.

Terminator 2 is the GOAT and Bad Boys is my favorite movie of all time, but I still gotta go with the 80s. The 80s action movies just seemed more raw and uncut.

80s for raw violence and audacity to pull off non-PC things.

Blade is making it hard for me to choose. But all in all I'd say the 80's. Predator alone because of all the deaths.

I love T2 but I'm taking Predator over it

Gotta go with the 80s, they were still purely R rated with everything back then. 90s was r rated too, but just starting to enter the era where an R rating just meant lots of F bombs and blood. Titties and gore was drasticly reduced.
Noways though actions aren't even rated R anymore for the most part outside the odd john wick or Logan.
