The toxicity is going to be worse than Hillary '16 now that Bernie doesn't have to worry about being labeled a sexist.

I mean gottdamn they didn't even wait a week to start attacking Beto from every angle. :gucci:

Beto isn't within 10 pts of Bernie in any state. We're a year from the first primary? Why all the angst? Beto must really be a threat. :sas2:

The page is still there. The people pushing this conspiracy are being deceptive by claiming the page was taken down.

Donate to Beto's Presidential campaign!

It's not his actual campaign.

What do you mean by "money from big donors?" Is the implication here that it's just a few thousand people donating the max? If that were the case then he would not meet the requirements to participate in the debates.

Walker Bragman is an idiot, btw. He doesn't have an ounce of credibility.
i know it's not his campaign

but it is representative of his support from grassroots

Big Donors means using bundlers. Bundling campaign contributions is a common practice in American congressional and presidential elections. "The term bundling refers to a form of fundraising in which one person or small groups of people — they might be lobbyists, business owners, special interest groups or activists seeking legislative action — convince their wealthy friends, coworkers and other like-minded donors to simultaneously write checks to their preferred candidate for public office."

It's used to circumvent campaign contribution rules. Beto has a history of using bundlers.

I'm saying he's circumvents the rules by having other people fundraise and have the money go to the campaign.

I don't believe that is indicative of his grassroots support. And that is definitely not how it is being spun  Come on now. The support during his senate run is a better representative.

This article from the Intercept covers some of it.

How Beto O’Rourke Raised a Stunning $38 Million in Just Three Months

While raising $38 million in three months is an impressive feat for any candidate, what’s more interesting is how O’Rourke did it: almost entirely online, from hundreds of thousands of people donating small amounts of money, while explicitly turning down money from political action committees. His campaign also actively discourages Super PACs from intervening on his behalf.

This most recent fundraising report saw 44 percent of O’Rourke’s money come from donors giving less than $200 in total, colloquially known as “small-dollar” money. In total, 42 percent of all the money raised by his campaign now comes from small donors. But even that number is a bit misleading because many of the people who gave more than that — and thus, are not counted as small donors — have done so in small increments, their enthusiasm eventually popping through that arbitrary $200 line. His average contribution this quarter was around $47.

O’Rourke’s reliance on grassroots donors further distinguishes his campaign from most congressional races, which by and large rely on a smaller number of donors contributing large amounts of money — even among members of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, most of whom still take corporate PAC contributions. This gives him a big advantage over big money: Very few of his donors have given the legal maximum, meaning that he can — and, according to the new figures, does — go back to those donors again and again asking for more contributions...

I was just trying to understand your specific belief of where the donations from his first 24h are coming from; and your belief seems to be that it is (all?) from bundling. I'll say that remains to be seen. We'll have a better picture once we have the FEC numbers. :handshake:

To be honest, I don't seem him lying about this* only to be embarrassed in a few weeks.

*"Our campaign will be funded by We the People — that is how we'll be able to reach and listen to voters in all 50 states. No PACs. No corporations. No lobbyists or special interests. It'll be ALL people," an email to supporters signed "Team Beto" said.

So old ass Biden would be chosen over the first black female president? I don't see it once his record starts to get exposed. Homie had to defend his opposition to integration last week. He will be food.

The LGBTQ community is now not feeling Biden because he complimented homophobe Pence and didn't really apologize for it. So now they REALLY don't like him.

Hillary lost Texas by 750k votes to Trump. She gave it as much attention as Wisconsin. With Beto's GOTV campaign, Biden's appeal to MAGA cacs, and a looming recession/Mueller report - I believe that margin can be made up. It's not going to be easy, but it's worth keeping an eye on if you're Biden and decide not to pick a woman. Beto's issue right now is he's somehow pissed off the left with his announcement and Biden needs a progressive in that VP spot.
He’s too hopeful , too enthusiastic, speaks too well, smiles too much :wow:

Who would have thought positivity would be criticized :wow:

These Sanders people are toxic as shyt. Good god. Who is the enemy here?!

@88m3

These nikkas legit put months of energy into telling us how unelectable these people are then at the end say, but if it comes to it I’ll vote for them :mjlol: either they are trash or they aren’t :mjlol:

Sanders stans can’t accept anything if it doesn’t go in his favor.

Bernie cuts himself taking a shower - “The shower door attacked him. The CEO of the manufacturer donates heavily to the Clintons.”
:laff: I swear man they are insufferable
