Yeah, I watched through the whole thing 4 years ago, so it's still relatively fresh. The drop off after season 3 was pretty steep. Truth be told, they never handle the Kyle + Maxie relationship properly. Neither character really grew, so the whole "we love each other but also hate each other too" stuff got kind of repetitive. Sinclair also got progressively dumber as the show went on. They did the same thing with Kenan and Kel, where Kel started off dumb and ended straight up inept.

Great show though!

That always pissed me off, and it still does whenever I watch later episodes. The first two seasons of Kenan & Kel and the last two seasons feel like two completely different shows. And the fall off is immediate. I've never seen it happen that fast.

First episode of season three, Kel loses his yo-yo and Kenan tries putting his head through the fence to get it and ends up getting his head stuck. Kel goes around the fence to get the yo-yo, and when Kenan asks him if he knew he could do that the whole time, Kel's like "Yeah. Just in case the fence thing didn't work." :mjtf:

I didn’t know they had replaced TC Carson on LS :ohhh:. I know he had bounced at one point but replaced? I thought the show ended with him and Max reconnecting, after she became pregnant (he just so happen to be the donor). I know Mel Jackson joined the cast in the later seasons.

Yeah, they fired him after season four. The producers didn't like how outspoken he was whenever the cast wanted something, so when he found out Kyle was going to London, he asked them if he was getting fired. He wasn't upset, but he wanted to know so he could get his affairs in order. They said they weren't, and then right after the season four finale aired, T.C.'s agent called him and said they weren't bringing him back next season.

They brought in Mel Jackson to replace him, even having him in the opening credits where T.C. used to be. But then they had Kyle come back in the series finale so I guess a deal was worked out.

yeah its the music thats holding up..they had too much fire music on there...they dont want to pay them royalties out :francis:

I don’t necessarily blame them considering that the show isn’t in demand streaming wise like that to justify the cost that it’d take to payout royalties. I know All That would dodge it by completely removing the musical performances, but it’s kind of hard to do that with this show and replacing the music with something else wouldn’t work either.

Breh seriously, no sense that they haven’t released it on physical or streaming. Only thing I can think of is music right fukking it up, but if this was part of the Fox deal with Disney it’s a rap
I don't get the argument with the music. I got an entire 7 season boxset of the West Wing with tons of episodes with music that they had to license to release it.

So this is on Paramount+?

Used to be one of my favorite shows until they killed my boy off.

Hell nah... it not only wasn't better, it was absolute trash.

So they also got rid of the Liutenant, sent Yoba and Lauren Velez to a new precinct, added a white boy, a white girl, and had ya mans Tommy from 'Martin' as the new boss. Stripped away all the street/hip-hop vibe of the show, basically turned it into a regular cop show, even put Yoba and Velez together on some romance shyt. Barely lasted a season.

dikk Wolf intentionally sabotaged the show and the audience revolted.

When people talk about a reboot, you can't do it with this show. That New York was unique and that energy nor setting can be recreated.
