Hell nah... it not only wasn't better, it was absolute trash.

So they also got rid of the Liutenant, sent Yoba and Lauren Velez to a new precinct, added a white boy, a white girl, and had ya mans Tommy from 'Martin' as the new boss. Stripped away all the street/hip-hop vibe of the show, basically turned it into a regular cop show, even put Yoba and Velez together on some romance shyt. Barely lasted a season.

With the musical performances or no? Even All That had to cut out the musical performances in syndication and Viacom is cheap and doesn’t have the bread like that to pay for the rights to show them.
