Edge had no business, NONE accomplishing all that he did.

That said, Edge spent a more sustained time as a legitimate singles star.

That first injury aside, if it weren’t for the brand extension, he’d probably have 1/3 of the world title he won. Orton too.

It’s Either some impact fans or goth chicks voting for Jeff :lolbron:
I mean, I can understand stanning Jeff, cuz he had that great pure babyface run in the E, dude was on fire. Edge never really saw that fandom as a face. But diversity, Jeff could never really play a heel, and didn't have the mic skills to play a heel that would keep people interesting... But Jeff is also more recent and active (Edge was gone almost 10 years?) So longevity definitely counts for something...

If all you take from these two performers was "Oh Jeff did way more crazy shyt, he was the star of those TLCs". Then of course, but in totality, Edge is miles ahead in this thing we call Wrestling.

This guy started out in a edgy Attitude era team just like Jeff, and transitioned into a singles star, just like Jeff.

Over Edge's career, I saw him work and get great at the comedy side, work and get great at the mic work and acting side. He developed in ring, as his selling and facials became so good as a singles guy. His offense didn't really grow, but it wasn't like he had a boring moveset at the time.. He was then able to transition into a face fans respected. He was given opportunities and he did well enough with them to gain more opportunity. That's a dependable talent that you can count on, that is decent or above average in the areas they needed him to be... I think he accomplished exactly what he deserved imo.

Same with Jeff, a home run as a face, and really you just needed to worry about was he okay out of the ring or not. Didn't they fire/suspend him WHILE he was the world champ??? That's someone who has no business even being in a world title match....

When Edge cashed in on Cena at New Year's Revolution, it had kid Doom in tears, no cap. :francis:

When Edge speared Cena at the WWE ECW ppv, taking off that helmet, allowing RVD to win the strap from Cena. I was marking out!!
