Not really. Sting was definitely more entertaining by the mid 90s. When you got old enough, he was a better wrestler by all metrics but Hogan was more the name, star, and impactful star...that's just WWE marketing though.

he was popular, no doubt, but TO ME, he wasnt all that AT ALL. i watched starcade 97, i was around for the hype but that was it.
