This is probably my #1 scene. You go from "he's telling him!!" to the end of it when you're like that was intense and brilliantly done.

The best murder scene was


Even though I rooted against Marlo, the scene is so well done, when Joe realizes what's going to be done, to the Grim Reaper Chris creeping in the background, to Marlo giving Joe a "nice" murder by talking him through it (that is compassion by Marlo's standards), and finally Marlo's sadistic evil look at the end.

I know Season 2 doesn't get much love around here, but there were lots of great scenes.









It is wild as fukk, it took me until Season 3 to find Idris was British. I was like when I found out.


Another scene where McNulty (who is British irl) is doing an American doing a British accent.


Omar meeting brother Mouzone in the Alley.

that is a good ass pick. hard to say best scene, but that is definitely up there.

also the basketball game, its not just one scene but its also great.

from mcnulty not wanting to follow avon, saying how we get him by voice or we dont get him. daniels telling him, in narcotics, we follow guys, and we're good at it. to the actual follow scene.

i think its stringer telling avon about deangelo. it had everything. quotables for days, intense, their ranges where fully shown in this scene.

a slept on scene, is when deangelo mother was questioning avon and stringer on what happened to her son. you felt the tension and could cut it with a knife.

but seriously, the wire just has too many classic scenes to just pick 1

the scene when the greek was finding out sobatka was snitching and got the call, and said "it wont work" is one of my fav scenes, from the chain of messages, the mail cart getting pushed around etc.

when wallace got killed, i remember me and my girl sat quiet as hell in shock at that scene.

avon and the security guard, also a great scene. "you want it one way"

avon schooling deangelo after he got out of jail. that was some og shyt.

the scene after marlo goes to jail, my name is my name scene was excellent

its just too many to name.

When Frank blew up at the detectives about his people having to go to court.

When Snoop asked Mike how her hair looked.

This was gonna be the last one, then I thought of the MIke/Snoop scene, but When ole dude said U just a boy, (Bam!) That just a knee. lol...Mike was Cold

Best show ever. Marlo didnt even make my list, or Avon or String, or Chris...
