I enjoy Brocks first year a lot more than Kurts. Imo Kurt didn't really get good until 2 years in.

He was good at playing an annoying heel right off the bat, yes, but so is The Miz. Brock has classic moments/matches in that first year.
Difference between miz and angle is like the difference between papoose and nas

Angle was undeniably talented no matter what role he did in the wwe he was entertaining
White eddie Guerrero imo....face/heel he could play the same character and depending on the attitude/emotion he could make u hate or love him easily

Miz has never been a face character people really wanted to see win

Man Angle got that shyt on lock. All the belts, KOTR

went over SCSA, Dwayne, Paul, Mark...what else could you want.
He didn't really beat Austin in his first year though..his second year? Yeah...the Austin victory he did get was in Armageddon 2000 in HIAC which was in December 2000 but he debuted at Survivor Series 99

:banderas: Gotta go with Kurtis. Nobody picked up the business as easy as Angle probably ever did. Just look at the transformation from WM 16 to 17. At WM 16 he looked like an aight upcoming rookie in the ring and by the time it was WM 17, he was already on Benoit's level in ring wise. :wow: He didn't need a manager and could cut really good promos practically from the jump. He went through every step on the card, from curtain jerker on PPV's, midcard, high midcard testing him with main event talent, and than came a main eventer by the time he beat the Rock at NM 2000.

I can see people picking Kurt, because he was maybe more "entertaining" but Brock was a legit maineventer the minute he stepped into the wwe. rock looks at everything in the business sense, which is probably why he went with Brock. Brock was, what 2 months in the wwe and had a LEGIT mainevent with Rock. like you could buy brock beating anyone on the roster 2 months in. with angle, even when he won the wwe title, it didn't feel like he was on the level of rock, austin, undertaker, etc. Kurt wasn't on that level until mid 2001.

anyway, like I said in my 1st post. Goldberg >>>> Goldberg was the biggest star in WCW and a close 2nd to Austin overall not even a year into his career. He debuted in Sept and beat Hogan that following June. think about the level he got to in such a short period of time. its crazy. and he was a legit main eventer.

Austin left because they weren’t trying to build toward that match. They were bent on doing it as a king of the ring qualifying match with no buildup and both Austin and Brock knew it was stupid.

I know but it still would've been another huge name on the list
