Yeah I agree that he would have had national exposure from having verses on the Willie D and Gangsta NIP albums.
That's a good point. But I don't think that helped break him through to the point where most hip hop fans knew about him in the 90s, primarily b/c those weren't big albums.
I agree, course, never said otherwise. Never heard anybody else say otherwise either actually. Anyway I'm just voting on who I honestly think had the best album/performance that year lol, been a bunch of years where K-Rino had albums to me were very dope, some possibly even classic where I didn't vote for him cause I thought another artist had a better project or year that year, but I also can't in good conscious not vote him when I DO think he had the best project/performance and deserved the vote just cause some people may get offended by an honest opinion. It's completely objective, I'm a Hip Hop head first before a fan of any individual artist..
