Well he dropped Friend of the People on Thanksgiving 2011 which was fantastic in my opinion but yeah, this was the official descent.

From 2004-2009 he hadn't released a single bad project but Lasers hit like a freight train.

Kendrick not gonna benefit much of the weighting system when it kicks in due to winning in less competitive years (tho 2012 and 2015 ain't bottom of the barrel shyt)

True, album was really solid. Even some of the songs that didn't make it due to sample clearance or whatever were tight such as Lullaby Of The Champions. Good features on the project good. Lyrical Law and Melatonin Magik both really good, the stand outs on Melatonin Magik were incredible.
