No You never discuss international sales. The bulk of Lloyd Banks album sales were outside the US. Why omit that? Just like many artist in Rap.
International record sales don't matter. It is what it is

There was definitely energy for both Raekwon and Doom in their respective years. It just wasn't coming from the mainstream channels.

Do you only listen to what's hot in any given year? I get the sense you've been following this shyt for the past 25 some odd years like I have. What are your off the wall or underground picks?

I dont know if thats fair, because i just so happened to be listening to alot of nikkas i like before they blew up and got popular. Im the only nikka I know who had Im Serious and predicted T.I would be the truth...i follow it so closely like you do,everybody else just ends up late to the party to discover what i already knew in many cases:sas1:

The energy dont count if its only from your fanbase....do you just mean for around 2004 as far as my underground picks?id put Joe Budden in there, and before you say its cuz he was popular,i thought he was garbage when he had the hype, plus he killed banks and his whole squad yet sumhow Banks winnin this poll:heh:....Brotha lynch should be in the running in 93 if we goin back that far....Crooked i created energy when he was doing the freestyle weeklys, and i had been preaching about Crooked long before that,so Crooked in 2007. Cassidy would get a mention in 2002 or 2003 based on his mixtape work....Plies in 2008/2009 was your favorite rappers favorite rapper and he was underground still:ufdup:....Takeoff of Migos i wouldve given last year too, plus Migos as a group gotta go in whatever year no label 2 dropped.

All my examples based on a REAL energy shift, and change of perception from different demographics on these artist, from people who previously hadnt heard them or disregarded them...along with fitting what it means to me to be a great rapper even if on different levels....i like B Will Sauce Walka right now, lets not forget not being "nerd rap" doesnt make it not underground:sas1:

And yes popularity is very important in this category,so most of the names i mentioned i still wouldnt vote for to win in they respective years lol.
