Cube was definitely my 2nd choice. Don't forget, he had that Lynch Mob album too and featured on G Rap's album. Prolific year for the GOAT.

But off the strength of Whut? Thee Album (top 10 for me) and also EPMD feature, gonna give it to Redman.

Can't go wrong with Redman. But Cube had a much bigger impact. Really he was the top MC in the game during that time

Also remembered that Redman won Source Lyricist of the Year in 1992, that also helps his case

but yeah Cube ran shyt solo-wise 1990 to 1992 and is likely the favourite to win MVP 1990-1991

impact is secondary for me so I went by album strength...but Redman obviously should be recognised for more than just the album
