Best Nightmare On Elm Street?

I love this series as a whole, and watch it pretty much whenever I see it on. For a long time I always thought part 3 was the best, but for the most part, there is something like about all of them. I haven't seen Freddy's Dead or The Dream Child in awhile, but from what I remember, The Dream Child isn't that great and Freddy's Dead was terrible. I actually remember Freddy's Dead being more of a comedy than a horror. What do y'all think?

I like Part 2 also, and alor of people don't. I know part of it is there aren't many deaths, but I like how they did the story with him finding Nancy's diary and him turning into Freddy and whatnot.

fukk no, shyt didn't even feel like Nightmare on Elm Street and I had high hopes for that shyt also. They are still coming out with part 2, but it would have been out if the first one had done better.

I fukks with both the "Nightmare on Elm Street" & the "Friday the 13th" remake. If I ever start a blu-ray collection of my favorite horror movies, both of them belong in it.

I say 1-4, and New Nightmare is dope also. Other than that Better than Friday 13th series though. I don't know how the fukk they had 10+ movies with that shyt.

I actually really enjoyed the friday remake, it wasnt scary like the older ones were, but it was pretty fun to watch.

My fav is 3. Same as the friday movies.

the scene where freddy turns that kid into a puppet by using his veins as strings still gives me the chills

the rest were dumb fun.

I always liked the style to the old school trailers especially for horror films. only problem is they gave a lot away

Exactly, they always kind of hinted to it because obviously if you're into killing kids, molesting them isn't too far off. I never really understood why Freddy had a right to be mad when he came back? nikka, you was guilty!
