Was overall, not a great year for movies, the last few months were pretty good, but there were long periods where there was nothing, or I was disappointed with what I saw.

The Master I need to see again, liked it but wasn't focused to get everything beneath the surface when I saw it
I also liked Cosmopolis, Lawless, 21 Jump street, Prometheus, Argo, 7 Psychopaths, Skyfall, Man with the iron fists, Perks of being a wallflower. There were probably another 5-10 movies I saw this year I liked, it was a good year for movies, just not many )if any) instant classics imo.

I really want to see C&JF......but the fact that it's on your list alongside what might be my 3 biggest disappointments of the year has me worried

I might have to throw 'Take This Waltz' on there too, that's a good fukking movie, it's a little long, and some scenes I didn't care for...but overall, really well acted, directed, scripted. Love Michelle Williams.
MIB 3 is actually pretty good.
