i just had lambardi's pizza tonight (from little italy), walked hella blocks, when i finally got it back to tha spot i ate tha whole damn cardboard box along with it (starving all day)

it wuz cool tho, i'm not really big on thin crust pizza, i guess tha cheese is their secret ingredient cuz it tasted a lil different then regular pizza cheese, had a wine like taste to tha pizza also

i haven't tried italian icee's, i remember Pac (rip) talkin bout 'em in that song "old school" when he talkin bout growin up in NYC (which reminds me damn i gotta play that song out here! give me that 1980's NY vibe :aah: [along with Boogie Down Bronx])

i'm bout to leave in a couple days and tha sad thing is i've been in manhattan pretty much my whole stay

is there anything else worth checkin out in NY (harlem, brooklyn, bronx? :huh:) or is it u seen one borough u seen them all?

:wtf: absolutely not

I know its a little off topic but the most concentrated area for good spots besides Manhattan is in Astoria. There are too many good restaurants, bars and cafes too mention all. There is a substantial amount of Brazilian, and Greek people living there that influence all these restaurants. Not too mention that its 10 min from the city so every spot is always packed and filled with dimes. My favorites are Tavela (brazilian), Taverna Kyclades (Greek), Omnia (Greek), Sugarfreak (southern). Also, King of Falafel & Shawarma on 30th & Broadway is literally one of the best street foods in NYC. Theres always a line, those guys have been visited by damn near every food show cause they are so good. I never go to the same restaurant in Astoria twice, because the next is spot is always better. :boss:

Sylvia's BEEN fell off... Last time I was there had to be back in the mid 90s when I went with a group of friends. By that point, white people had gotten comfortable coming to Harlem. Also, Sylvia Woods had started branching out into canned goods, and other restaurants. I think this made the quality of the food suffer. It was funny; when we was eating, all the black folks was adding seasoning to the food cause it was too bland, and the white folks was :eat: like nothing.

My favorite spot that me and wifey always have to hit when we go back is Flor De Mayo over on the West Side. It's a Chinese/Spanish spot with real good food. We went there last time up top, after my uncle's funeral when we got tired of my family's ratchet-ness... LOL

yea mane it was alot of cacs in there gettin they grub on

In the Bronx I would suggest...
Bruckner Bar & Grill Bruckner Bar and Grill. Amazing porkchops and the sweet potato fries are on point. It's a hole in a wall so it's never packed and it's a nice atmosphere.

The Clock Cafe and Martini Bar Good taco's relatively cheap drinks

Sabrosura | Chino Latino Restaurant :lawd::lawd: The yellow rice with sausage is crack, the chicharon de pollo is on point, and the bourbon ribs are good as well.

Mexicosina :boss::boss:

Dag man those patties look perfect :eat:
I dont know why cats prefer the jamaican ones over these; they're not too big and the bread imo is better.
