Carmine's on 91st and bway(italian) the size of the plates here are enormous :krs:and the food is great, try the chicken Romano, But beware you might need 2 more heads with you to finish the plate.

Churrascaria Greenfield On 111th st corona queens (brazilian meat) They just keep bringing you meat after meat. (pause)

empire schezuan for Chinese previously on 97th and bway now on 100th and bway, not cheap but the food is godly. I recommend the 10 ingredient fried rice or Lo mein, Once you have this you're not going to be able to eat from a regular Chinese spot again :sadcam:

and forgot the name of the place but there is a Dominican seafood spot on Dyckman

That seafood soup when your:drunk: is :stylin::dj2: have you ready for the afterparty:jawalrus:

as for pizza although there are better spots in BK my fav is Koronet Pizza on 111Th and bway. is nice crisp pizza, and did I also mention that they only sell Jumbo slices that are like the size of 3 regular slices:krs::krs:,seriously the slices are huge:krs:, I've been going here most of my life and the most I ever ate was 2 1/2 slices. the price just went up a bit to 3.50 a slice but I still find it cheap for the quality:yeshrug:

What's the deal with shake shack? I've heard it hyped up so much I don't think it can possibly live up to it

It's cool, just go there before 12, because the lines are :wow:
If you want something similar to Shake Shack, w/o all that waiting, you can go to Milk Burger.

QUEENS NY
Like someone else said, New Park Pizza in Howard Beach. Someone else mentioned Katz which I love but if you're in Queens and want to get a Pastrami on Rye and a round kanish for the same price as a sandwich from Katz go to Ben's Kosher Deli on Queens Blvd. I'm from Queens so I'm bias but if you want the best homestyle Italian meal possible go to Don Peppe's on Lefferts Blvd. And if you go to Don Pep's you gotta order the fried clams and a bottle of house wine. I don't even like wine and their house wine was awesome. If you're hungry at 1:00am you gotta hit up Cherry Valley in Whitestone. And if you like Italian Ices you gotta go to the lemon ice king on 108st in Corona, best italian ices ever.

i just had lambardi's pizza tonight (from little italy), walked hella blocks, when i finally got it back to tha spot i ate tha whole damn cardboard box along with it (starving all day)

it wuz cool tho, i'm not really big on thin crust pizza, i guess tha cheese is their secret ingredient cuz it tasted a lil different then regular pizza cheese, had a wine like taste to tha pizza also

i haven't tried italian icee's, i remember Pac (rip) talkin bout 'em in that song "old school" when he talkin bout growin up in NYC (which reminds me damn i gotta play that song out here! give me that 1980's NY vibe :aah: [along with Boogie Down Bronx])

i'm bout to leave in a couple days and tha sad thing is i've been in manhattan pretty much my whole stay

is there anything else worth checkin out in NY (harlem, brooklyn, bronx?) or is it u seen one borough u seen them all?

the price of food in manhattan and the remainder is bimodal though. new york is the place where you can get the cheapest high quality food, whether it be from trucks or small local businesses. but if you are fine dining, even the piece of shyt restaurants could jack up the price to a ridiculous amount

i remember going to restaurant week as college students to a sushi place by the trump towers in midtown. we each dropped like $50, we had dressed up and shyt and thought we were balling. definitely the youngest ones there and the food was good but it was a really small portion.

next to us where 8 investment bankers from goldman that were reading the bill out loud - $2000 and a $400 tip on top of that. it was insane. on the other side were 3 gay doctors who spent 800 dollars total amongst them. cool thing is i know one of the sous chefs at that place, he used to be cooking at our school cafeteria too, working 2 jobs so he can fund his main thing which was a start up catering biz

not a better, hard working city out there in the world. fukk lebron for not signing with the knicks
