I got mines... The line in Park Lane, Dallas was wrapped around the building. I was in line for 8 hours. Everyone that showed up after 4pm got nothing. At least most got something.... there were about 80 consoles in all between XBOX & PS5's

Only thing I ever lined up for was the IPhone 6. Stayed in line for 10 hours I think specifically for the gold 6 plus version.

Funny thing is that this one wasn't for me, it was for a 2nd cousin. An uncle beg me to get one for his grandson and he would pay me back. Waiting in line was beneath me too, but this was the quickest way to get one.... and I need one more for another cousin.

8 hours? I couldn't do it. I'm glad I got this handled at launch because if not and I couldn't land one online I'd just wait. 8 hours is a full day's work.

Reminds me of what happened I went to pick up a disk version from Target. They didn't bother putting it in a bag beforehand, so I was paranoid carrying it to the car as I thought someone was going to try and pull a jack move from behind

It's just not a game right now exclusive to PS5 that I feel like standing around for that kind of time for. That's more than half a day off work. At that point I'd just pay a scalper because 14 hours is worth more than $200. I'd rather volunteer for overtime and make more than what I'm saving standing around so long doing nothing. Even 8 hours to save $200 off a scalper I could work an off day and come out far ahead. I get paid time and a half so it's a better use of time.
