Word? Why? Not even coming at you sideways, just interested to hear your point of view
Dalton just seemed very bland to play Bond. Like just on the chick scale, you really think he was baggin broads. He could hit'em with "I'm Bond. James Bind" and I wouldn't have been shocked if they replied, "yea whatever nikka".

Brosnan didn't have the moxy to pull it off. He just seemed to force the Bond character. Moore, Connery, Craig pull it off effortlessly IMO.

The bottom 5 are definitely the later Roger Moore years, when the camp and tongue in cheek just boiled over and infected the movies….and a few Brosnan's later offerings, 'World Is Not Enough' and 'Die Another Day' are about the definition of a bottomed out franchise…I'll admit some of the older Connery ones are a chore to watch too, the Dalton ones I like because they were darker, and much more in the vein of early Brosnan and the prototype for Craig. 'A View To A Kill' should be awful for many reasons, but I have sentiment attached, and it's just a bloated, bad mess of a Bond movie, watching Moore carouse and bed women at damn near 70 years old….

Worst, no real order:

World is Not Enough
Moonraker
Never Say Never Again
Die Another Day
Diamonds Are Forever

My favorites:

Goldeneye
Skyfall
Casino Royale
one of the better Connerys
Spy Who Loved Me
Living Daylights

It's an amazing franchise, but the movies really hold up only in a whimsical, reminiscent way…I think the series is at it's best 2006-present, because the movies are actually quality movies, while being Bond films, not the other way around, or missing the quality aspect. Stripped down and darker is where it should have been all along. People romanticize the Connery years, but throw in one of those later ones, or that Japan one, and it's as bad as the Moore offerings, which in retrospect are pretty tolerable. 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service' is decent too, esp the end….

Definitely check out casino royale and skyfall...and on the real, Quantum of Solace is a dope flick if you watch it right after Casino Royale making one 3-4 hour movie..then lead right into Skyfall
got both of them sitting right in front of me. got them when skyfall came out to complete my collection and my dumb ass hasn't seen them yet. bout to watch them soon. oh and die another day was one i enjoyed also.

Naughty Dog had to be watching the ending action scene on the plane from living daylights

was sketching one day and decided to recreate the scene with the craig bond

Dalton tried to do what Craig is doing now but he didn't have the scripts or direction or charm to pull it off but living day lights is a good flick and I stand by that

Brosnan suffered from bad scripts minus goldeneye and I think he understood the character very well but his movies wanted it two ways: they wanted to have an edge like Connery but then be silly like Moore and you can't do both.

Connery has two bad flicks so I think it's the first four that are romanticized especially since he wasn't bored with the role yet

All of those movies hold up since they were perfect for the times and actually took themselves seriously. Moore overstayed his welcome unfortunately after TMWTGG and SWLM.

Brosnan movies are the least watchable ones to me though:snoop:

You ever see the documentary everything or nothing? Dude said he couldnt just be the Bond Connery played with the hitting women and stuff. He had to play a softer version....he still got mad hoes though:pachaha:

The only boring portrayal of Bond to me is Brosnans and ppl put this dude 2nd or sometimes 1st:stopitslime:

Craig has been killing it in his movies, he is the closest thing to Connerys portrayal and you can see what they are going for with Craigs bond being a young dumb 007

Everything or Nothing is a dope documentary and yeah that's just not his steez..he couldn't pull off the tough guy thing which is how I like my Bond..Moore's Bond always seemed like the guy who worked in the service and just so happened to become a spy but only has the job for the women and the travel
