Breh, Cena is a MUCH better professional wrestler than Dolph Ziggler. I don't even want to get into breaking it down right now because I know you've seen plenty of wrestling in your day. Cena is light years ahead of Ziggler in pretty much every aspect. :manny:

I told you from the get go...."Without AJ, Ziggler ain't shyt". We are in 2015 and they are trying to find a way to safely put the title on half rejected Roman Reigns than the guy the fans like in Ziggler. He's a joke.

Damn, guess I'm the only Dolph Stan round here :wtb:
nope...i've noticed alot of Dolph hate around here lately I don't get it. nikkas talkin bout he has terrible psychology...you guys are taking offhanded podcast comments a bit too far. Most of the motherfukkers in TSC don't have the first clue about ring psychology. What does Dolph do well besides selling an bumping? How bout engaging the crowd...making every move important from the Zig Zag to a simple backslide. Makes everyone he faces look great. And most importantly dude does nothing but deliver great match after great match...he's been the ultimate workhorse. Hes had great matches with just about everybody the past 12 months. Put on a classic with Barrett before he got his shoulder separated...Awesome MITB match. The lead up to survivor series had a surprisingly awesome cage match with Kane...and he has stinkers with EVERYONE. Survivor Series was probably the best match of 2014...Show stealing Ladder match with Luke Harper at TLC. Not 1, not 2, but 3 incredible matches with Daniel Bryan. Underrated classic 6 man tag match with the Usos vs Cesaro and the Dust Brothers that had the crowd on fukkin fire. Barnburner with Neville. Dope as expected matches with Orton, Cesaro, Rollins, Tyson Kidd and Shaemus. Honestly he's the best IC Champion we've had since Jeff Hardy.

Obviously you can't just throw him in the main event picture...He's been in nothing but curtain jerking...gimmick... or group matches the past 10+ PPVs. Give him an important proper singles feud with someone who can elevate him like its traditionally done in this business. If he's booked right he undoubtedly can belong...and when his number is called he will deliver. Mostly everyone was saying he deserved a run after he cashed in for Big Gold...mostly everyone was saying he deserved a run after survivor series.

He needs to just revamp his gimmick

Needs to be more serious and stoping trying to pander to the crowd

Should do a 180 shave his head get black tights and start using a submission

Lets think about Dolph's best matches. A lot of them were more than five years ago. His best work is undoubtedly with Rey Mysterio, Daniel Bryan and Alberto who just happen to be 3 of the best workers of the past decade. Meanwhile, John Cena has had great matches with all types of opponents. He got a decent match out of Khali. The only other two people who can say that are HBK and Triple H.

How does John Cena's offense look terrible? I'll admit that his punches can be weak at times and this springboard stunner spot needs to go but John Cena can do a simple lariat and it looks fukking devastating. He damn near took Owens head off last week. His top rope leg drop is always a nice near fall. And Cena does sell very well when he wants to. He sold like a motherfukker against Brock, he sold like a motherfukker against JBL in their "I Quit" match. He sold like hell for Umaga. The list goes on and on. He can also get away with "hulking up" because he's a massive human being.

Promo wise there is no comparison. Cena smokes Dolph in that regard.

Dolph's greatest match was the concussion angle against Del Rio and part of that was Del Rio's offense being so crisp. Del Rio was having great matches with Big Show and a host of others at the same time. Del Rio is one of the more underrated guys of the past decade. :manny:

To be fair who else on the main roster are finished products outside of handful of cats? Dolph can tell a hell of a story in the ring through his selling, and facial expressions which some cats can't even do so just let Dolph cook

:manny: I like Dolph but I feel like he is in the spot that he deserves to be in. For some reason the IWC can't deal with someone being a good midcard guy who might fight for the main belt every once in a while.

I think it was the dolph/harper ladder match this year (or was it last year?)... where dolph was in "agonizing pain" on the outside of thte ring... that is until he saw harper climb the ladder at which point he got up on his feet and ran FULL SPEED AHEAD... got BACK in the ring, and practically RAN up the ladder, stopping harper from grabbing the title.

which raises the question if you could climb the ladder that fast after being severely hurt, then why at the beginning of the match when you're fresh do you take slow, methodical baby steps.

as a self admitted mark, things like that irk me.

I like Dolph.
I remember reading guys raving about how he was making the IC title relevant again, but now he's somehow deplorable.
The guy is an upper mid-carder at his peak. I've always conceded that as a fan of his.
He was arguably the most over guy on the roster after Survivor Series, but they shortly "fired" him afterwards & removed him off of television.
Dolph is the guy who isn't a consistent main eventer, but you can stick him in a main event and he doesn't look out of place.
I'd even say he'd be worthy of a transitional title run with the right angle.
He always makes his opponents look terrific and could be the stepping stone for guys transitioning from the midcard to the main event
His biggest hurdle is his booking & his mouth.
He doesn't know when to shut up and his booking almost always goes to the dumps when he gains significant momentum.
Dolph would be among the two or three guys I'd build my upper midcard around.

Edit: I'll also say that while I like Dolph, I think the thing keeping him from the main event scene more than his offense or psychology is the fact he doesn't have a character.
He's arrogant, "steals the show" & "shows off."
Thats cool and lays the foundation for a character, but who are you, dude?
