Benny's lyrics and flow are really underrated overall. He's in his prime right now. It's too bad this lane of rap doesn't get a lot of looks.

Production is alright. I wish they would have switched it up a little. I was getting a little tired of the drumless stuff this lane of rap does but this is almost entirely boom-bap type beats, which after 20 years of listening to I can get sick of quick.

I'm sort of with you. I've always said one of Griselda's biggest strengths is one of their downfalls, and that's the massive reliance on Daringer production. It sets them apart but it can also get monotonous, since he's a modern day boom-bap producer and like you said we've heard that general sound for decades.

It's been so long since I've heard a project like this though that I can get over it.

On a follow up I'd definitely like a little more variety on the production end of things. I think Benny has a strong enough voice to sound good over some production that is sort of that modern twist on boom-bap but not the classic New York bounce with the drums. It's hard to put into words but I think you know what I mean. I'd love to hear Benny over Havoc, Nottz, Jake One, Bink, Mr. Porter, and some others. Obviously bring Alchemist back in. 9th Wonder is more of a boom bap guy but he and Benny be a good pairing.

Maybe do what WSG did on SB with Daringer and have Daringer just do like 3 or 4 beats.

I'm not complaining but I see where you're coming from. I've still be rocking this non-stop from top to bottom since Friday morning.

this is extremely good. lived up the high expectations i placed on it.
only Roc better than Benny right now...Estee Nack right behind him.

shout out to Royce Da 5'9
continuing to justify me calling him one of the corniest rappers ever and one of the worst rappers people consider to be elite.
i still preffer divino to nack

i mean come on

This is definitely in the running for album of the year :psalute:
Can’t stop playing it breh. The only songs I even think about skipping are Rick because I’ve heard it so many times because it’s been out for a couple years, and fast Eddie because I’ve heard the verses a ton of times on that freestyle
