I don’t get how people don’t know about the Griselda boys, they are heavy in social media so anybody who listens to hip hop should’ve heard of them by now, especially after signing with Eminem.

You need to understand that people outside of NY really don't know or care about these dudes

Bro.....NY dudes need to get out more cuz these Griselda guys are not majorly known like that beyond hardcore 90s revivalist and "cipher" type rappers. And being signed by Eminem only increased their awareness around a select type of white boys.
Them dudes are very much niche driven and just cuz a super popular rapper (Meek) listens to them doesnt mean anything.
Usually the artists favorite artist are obscure and underground - regardless of genre (visual art, music, design, fashion etc).
This is not a diss cuz I think they have talent and a good grind but dont let social media or the fact they from NY distort reality that they are somehow bigger and super well known - they aint.

That can’t be true, how they got murals and stuff outside the states? They got their albums, merch and clothing selling out all the time. The demand for their music is there.

You think nikkas is checking for Eminem signees? :skip:

Them guys made music with other legends before even linking with Em. People don’t even know about them cause they chose not to listen. Conway has a EP with Prodigy, and had songs produced by Alchemist before even being noticed by other fan bases.

Yeah he could've flipped it into an opportunity...but we all know how emotional Griselda can get at times

For the record

Mach Hommy aint even made a Big Ben reference in his songs, much less replied to this:loldenzel2:

The amount of times he said “Mach-Hommy’s replacement” made me :dead:

You can tell that touched a nerve.

:yeshrug:
I'm from LA.
I know of them because I try to keep up with Hip-Hop despite work 40+ hours a
week and still attending college part time.

:yeshrug:
Maybe some people just love Hip-Hop a little more than others and will
take that additional time out of their day to seek new artists.
