Obamacare

The Affordable Care Act was a REPUBLICAN healthcare plan and Obama himself out of his own mouth admitted it was flawed and needed to be built upon. Most of his bills and legislation got erased when trump took office and large chunks of Obamacare got wiped out by republicans.

As far as the symbolic nature of him being the first black president. I’ll give u that. I voted for him twice. But symbolism means jack shyt. A chapter in a school text book. It means nothing.

As far as best presidents, it really doesn’t mean much. Clinton left office with a surplus. Bush ballooned the debt by first passing massive tax cuts (which Obama made permanent), and second by waging 2 wars. Obama took over in the middle of a financial crisis, then recession. But he failed to do much when he had a supermajority then lost it by his second term.

As far as who was better than Obama, I made more money under Trump

And MAGA was birthed from Obama’s presidency. He left office with the Democratic Party in ruins.

Trump staged a coup to stay in power after losing the 2020 election. He was just indicted in DC for it.
We are a Democratic Republic. The presidential election is decided by a nationwide vote and then the electoral college. We have had a peaceful transfer of power for nearly 250 years. Trump was the first threat to that peaceful transfer of power. That is why democracy is under assault and Trump is the WOAT president in my lifetime.

Nina Turner when comparing Biden to Trump called it picking between a half a bowl of shyt and a full bowl of shyt. No matter which one you pick it’s still a bowl of shyt.

And what have we gained since Biden took office? Not a damn thing. It’s no different than Trump being in office honestly. Student loan debt relief, gone. Voting rights act didn’t even make it to the floor for a vote. Roe vs Wade abolished. No immigration reform. No healthcare reform. Lost the majority in the House of Representatives.

It’s just a never ended cycle of two parties gaining control and losing it. The only people who consistently benefit are rich people and corporations.

I wasn't able to get insurance due to a pre-existing condition until Obamacare. I'm super grateful for it.

MAGA and Trumpists and the GOP in general here in 2023 are the party of fascism and rolling back of peoples' rights. I feel like most people on the right at this point are either stupid, willfully uninformed, or they're crypto-fascists or white nationalists that are hiding their power levels.

The Democrats also suck, but at least they're not trying to roll America back hundreds of years, and they're definitely the lesser of two evils until we have a true working class party or a true working class and peoples' nominee in the DNC.
