We basically got 2 Benny songs this week, one with Cole and a feature from Conway's new single. Seems like they want GDMM to drop so he can fufill his Major label deal, as long as we get that album i can wait for this. Let this song gain more steam.

yeah, it's weird. One one hand I get frustrated at album delays. On the other hand we live in an era where there's never been more options for entertainment from music and everything else. There's so much music and movies, shows, podcasts, youtube content dropping all the time that I feel kind of spoiled complaining about waiting another few weeks for an album. It's not like some eras where there's no prolonged periods of no dope music coming out. There's gonna be at least 2 albums I probably like dropping in Feb from Spitta/Alc and Conway, and I'm hearing rumors of K. Dot dropping this month as well as a Snoop/Hit-Boy album. If all 4 of those drop between now and Tana 4 on 3/11 that would be pretty crazy.

But I do love when artists like Nas or Boldy James just go "hey, I have an album dropping in 48 hours. Hope you enjoy" and then bam, it's out. I kinda wish that Benny and Conway would do more like that.

Yea I rather get albums once they release a single and wait a week, but we’re basically like 2 weeks away from Conway’s album dropping. This month is basically over so the wait for that is over which is good since we been waiting a long time for that one. I can see Another single or a track list coming for Conway’s album dropping soon. We’re gonna be getting album release from other artists soon since it’s the still the 1st quarter.

Apparently he was just on Instagram Live and said that he was high on The Breakfast Club and when he said the album drops Feb 11th, he actually meant March 11th.



EDIT: In Benny's defense, if you listen to it in real time (vid should auto start at 37:48) you can hear him fukk up the date.

Looks like Muggs/Rigz and DZA/Real Bad Man gone have to hold me down til that Spitta/ALC drops.

FKTAG and TT3 are my 2 favorite Griselda albums (if I'm not allowed to count any of the Boldy and Alc albums)

I do wish Conway would drop less music though. As far as solo material goes, I really love that Benny only drops once a year. I think Conway would benefit from that. It's kind of an old school sentiment, but I think once you reach a certain level that it cheapens what you do if you drop projects non-stop like someone that's still on the come up.

Probably so.

Reject 2 is great, but Conway improved lengths and bounds as a writer from 2015 to 2020. There’s a lot of hard bars in Reject 2 and tough beats, but I think Conway’s actual songwriting ability and depth is way beyond it on FKTAG. He shared more of his life and has way more different flows and rhyme styles. I also love the mix of production on FKTAG. He fed the base with Daringer and Alc beats like Dough Damani, From King, Raw Oysters, and Lemon Squeeze, but expanded to Erick Sermon, Rockwilder, Havoc, Rock Marci, 9th Wonder, Khrysis…he expanded his sound without going off the rails...I think FKTAG is a lot more interesting sounding production-wise.

Also, considering Tana Talk 3 and Reject 2 both have ten Daringer produced joints--I prefer Daringer's batch of beats on Tana Talk 3.

It honestly sounded to me watching the clip that he just stumbled over the words while being real high and just said the wrong month. I don’t think anything got pushed back at all. I think it was always March 11. Benny even started to say March and then switched mid-word

@phrank kastle you also got Spitta and Alc next Friday and I’m hearing rumors of Kendrick. Oh, and Snoop and Hit-Boy drop this weekend
