People were bytching all week that the Bucs should have went for 2pt to beat the Chiefs, so let's see if they have the same energy now for the Bengals instead of criticizing them for the move.
I was curious to see this too, given how NFL fans hate on Bowles every week. But so far I’ve seen Taylor get shyt on for not kicking which means people are just gonna criticize anything no matter what.

Wit 38 seconds left? Yea my defense should be able to keep Baltimore out of field goal range. And let's say you go into overtime. The Bengals was moving the ball on the Ravens too. I'm a take my chances in OT and hope I win the coin toss
35 seconds and two timeouts against the same defense that gave up a 92-yard drive in 3 plays.

Plus there was no guarantee they were ever getting the ball back again. The Ravens were going for the win anyway if the game was tied, so you might as well go for the lead, especially with the way the offense was moving the ball

I'm usually critical on when team choose to go for 2. But I'm failing to see the controversy in this one. It was an easy choice, they just didn't convert.

Why didnt Joe Burrow protest the call? He got facemasked earlier in the drive and said nothing. Then got Deacon Jones headslapped on rhe final pass and once again said nothing.
He doesn’t bytch to the refs. Like to a fault. He is so far away from Mahomes and Allen when it comes to that shyt, but he gets mauled sometimes and just keeps it moving smh. Dunno if he’s tryna be too cool or if he just really hates all the whining

Do you know what Lamar Jackson has done to us throughout his career? I wouldn’t have even watched. Woulda just turned the tv off.

It’s well established that NFL fans are all prime Bill Belichick after the fact

So if they get the 2 that magically makes their D not trash?? A FG would have beat them. :mindblown:

The decision effectively took them from the dealing with the probability of their D actually stopping Lamar to dealing with the probability of their D actually stopping Lamar AND them converting the 2. An objectively terrible decision.

THESE nikkaS MAKE NO SENSE
AND FAIL TO FORGET
THE BENGALS COULD HAVE WON
THE COIN TOSS AND GOT THE BALL
FIRST IN OT.

THE 2PTS DIDNT MATTER
IF YOU CANT STOP BMORE
FROM KICKING A FG IN 30 SECONDS

Last night demonstrated how the greatness of a WR inflates QB numbers. Burrow made some nice plays, he also missed wide open targets on many occasions and decided to throw senseless deep balls on several 3rd and shorts and 4th and shorts. Yet due to the dynamic ability of Jamarr, it looks like he was phenomenal. Ive said it before and I will say it again, Joe is not this clutch assassin that he is made out to be. He went scoreless in the 2022 AFC title game in the 4th and scoreless against the Rams n the 4th qtr of the Superbowl.
Stfu dude was hitting receivers with defenders in his face all game yall idiots just have vendettas and shouldn’t be taken serious

Thats definitely commendable, but he is getting clobbered out there and often times refs have to ne coaxed into making the right call. Its refreshing that he doesnt complain.and flail and flop, but.he needs to use his status as an elite QB to his advantage. Everyone else does.

How does Chase not get the pass on two? :mindblown:

Also, that was clearly PI/holding.
When a team is struggling, you get zero calls from the ref.

It's easy to see as a Cowboys fan. When the league wants the Boys to win, they get home cooking but when they don't, refs call every damn ticky-tack call possible. If the Bengals were 7-1 or some shyt, they'd probably "let em play." Since Baltimore looks like the only squad that COULD beat KC in the AFC, they gotta protect em.

Yeah the refs completely blew this call. So focused on seeing if he made the first down marker and not whether he actually completed the pass, which he didn't.

And when you go for 2pt conversions, you better have a play that you love for that spot. There's no way that play was designed for that TE. Chase ran an in-cut right into the defense wtf lol. They needed to run some kind of pick play like all teams do for these types of situations, word to Pete Carroll :skip:
