you can't blame him though, it was a weak FA in the summer of 09, and Gordon was going ham against the Celtics, and offered him that 65 mill contract, which the Bulls offered like 55 mill for him, so you can see he gave BG that much money. The Charlie V one was just Why would you pay a guy that's good enough to be a back up big that much money. I don't think Dumars is as bad as people make him out to be. He took a risk and it didn't work. But, Dumars should have kept Affalo and Amir johnson on the squad though.

Dumara did both signings because detroit had a ton of cash for the wade/lebron/bosh sweepstakes, but word was out he was gonna end up with nothing so he spent the space a year early. Everything he did during that era was wrong, and everyone but monroe was a bust

I think it's a good trade for Charlotte. Future 1st rounder from a Detroit team that doesn't look to be getting better anytime soon.

Gordon could probably be decent there, and who cares about cap space because it's not like they are players in free agency anyways.

They should try to trade the #2 for a package of picks though...
