not only that. he signed with the pistons for nominally more than the bulls were offering. like he took $60M over 5 years when the bulls were offering $55M.

you can't blame him though, it was a weak FA in the summer of 09, and Gordon was going ham against the Celtics, and offered him that 65 mill contract, which the Bulls offered like 55 mill for him, so you can see he gave BG that much money. The Charlie V one was just Why would you pay a guy that's good enough to be a back up big that much money. I don't think Dumars is as bad as people make him out to be. He took a risk and it didn't work. But, Dumars should have kept Affalo and Amir johnson on the squad though.
