I was eating at Ihop with my friend and she was furious. She didnt even wanna tell me cause she knew it would ruin my night. She told me anyway and I was like in that exact same order.

I havent been this upset since Batman and Robin

lol people in here going "but but he's re-invented himself, he's good now" completely ignoring that we've already seen him as a masked crusader similar to Batman, and he was average as hell.

Unless he's gonna change his voice and his natural mannerisms as an actor, we pretty much know what we're gonna get.

These cats are getting his credibility as a director mixed up with his credibility as an actor, there are better choices out there

I remember the hate that Michael Keaton got when he was cast as Batman. Look how that turned out. I remember the hate Heath Ledger got when he was cast as Joker. Look how that turned out. There were quite a few faces when RDJ was cast as Iron Man. Look how that turned out. Now could it go south? Yes. But over the last decade, Affleck has proven to be quite the accomplished actor and director. However, I will reserve judgement until I see the movie.

Would've never entered my mind as a contender. Not an awful choice but feeling kinda about it. Might turn out well though.

I thought they were going for an older, more grizzled Batman. If so, I thought Josh Brolin would've been an excellent choice. Guess they want a bigger name to go war with Marvel.

I'm not a Batman stan and I liked MoS but this is a horrible casting job and there really is no defending it...

As someone already said, Its just going to be Ben Affleck in a batsuit playing Ben Affleck...

I now have no doubt in my mind this movie will be an even bigger disappointment than the Star Wars prequels and they haven't even started filming yet...
