I just keep telling people that there are way more elite defenses in a given NFL season than there are QBs. Bill is an elite defensive coach who had the luxury of the GOAT at QB.

It was all so obvious.... Arguing it back then was wild.... They almost died out but its still a few lol

I dunno if it was Brady hate or people just tryna sound smarter than they really are by sayin "the coach is worth more than the greatest ever at the most impactful position in sports". Probably both.

The system is retired and starting to look like a tranny with all his plastic surgery

He's an average evaluator of offensive talent. He has drafted well on defense but he just can't draft offense well. I always tell people that if he thought Brady would be Brady, he doesn't let him fall that far.

And if you look at guys like Gronk and Hernandez, they were top picks that fell due to injury and character issues. He's never drafted an elite offensive difference-maker in the first round.

I won't comment on the quarterback play cuz I haven't watch them much, but I know if Kendrick Bourne is on the top of a depth chart, that's a problem

It was confirmation bias and people refusing to believe this guy was beating their favorite teams. They somehow convinced themselves that Bellichek who has been fired from his previous HC job and was 5-13 with a 100 million dollar QB who had taken NE to the SB decided to craft a “system” for a dude who 4th on the depth chart as a rookie.
