Negged for being clueless.

He talks a lot about foot when reporters aren't asking dumb questions.

Haven't seen you posting as much since the Patriots smacked the Falcons and the Red Sox won yet ANOTHER World Series.:mjlit:.

Fukk you mean easy ?!! :gucci: ... we might joke but there is no “easy” in the NFL .

Matt went 11-5 and was tied for the AFC East lead ... in what world is that not a helluva a season ?!!! Any other season they make the playoffs with that record and win the division outright .
They had the easiest schedule by opponent record and lost to every playoff team they played. In a typical year that is probably an 8-8 or 9-7 team. Think about how too heavy the league was that year for 11-5 to miss the playoffs.

Really breh :stopitslime: stop being so lenient and nice to Belichick. We don't use these excuses for other coaches.

The schedule was easy. They played the 2008 AFC West. Their best teams were 8-8 teams - the 2008 Chargers blew out the Pats, and Tom Brady has NEVER lost to Phillip Rivers EVER. They played the 2008 NFC West whose division winner was a 9-7 Cardinals that got hot and couldn't even play on the west coast.

And again, other coaches have done more with less. I could post some examples with less.

Why do people try to act like Brady going to the Bucs and having success wasn't a golden situation compared to what BeliGOAT has to deal with?

Brady is the undisputed GOAT, and I've said that since 2010. However, this seasons situation isn't an even comparison to the Patriots situation.

Well to answer that specific question, the Buccaneers had most of these same players and coaches the last 2 years and they weren't doing shyt :manny:

Let's not act like some people weren't saying Brady was washed and that the Buccaneers would go 7-9, by the way:martin:

Let's not act like Vegas didn't give the Patriots high Super Bowl odds before the year.:martin:

Let's not act like people didn't think Belichick would be able to put anybody in at QB and still go 10-6:martin:

^ y’all are delusional . Most coaches woulda actually gone 8-8 that year. Fukk you mean ?!!

Please read this and have a proper rebuttal:

This is one is the funniest because that 11-5 year wasn't a good accomplishment AT ALL.

Like, a LOT of coaches have actually done more impressive work than that :russ:

Mike Zimmer took Case Keenum to a 13-3 record and the NFC Title game. :mjlol:
Jim Harbaugh went to 49ers team that was ass for years and turned Alex Smith from a bust to a pro-bowl QB and brought them to the NFC title game :mjlol:
Mike Tomlin won 9 games with the WORST QBs in the league and with his skill position players being injured.:mjlol:
Denver won 9 games with Tim Tebow:mjlol:
Bill Cowher took Neil O'Donnel to the Super Bowl in 95 and Tommy Maddox to the AFC title game in 2001 :mjlol:

Jeff Fisher took the Tennessee Titans to 13-3 with Kerry Collins and CJ2K :mjlol:

Jim Fassel and Sean Payton went 13-3 with Kerry Collins and took him to a super bowl in 2000 :mjlol:
Sean Payton went 6-0 with Teddy Bridgewater last year.:mjlol:

Todd Haley who is a BUM went 10-6 with Matt Cassel the year after with a worse team and tougher schedule!!!! :mjlol::mjlol::mjlol::russ::russ::russ:

Like bro... A LOT OF GOOD COACHES would have went 11-5 with Matt Cassell. John Harbaugh got 10+ wins outta Joe Flacco every fukking year, what makes you think that he couldn't get 11 wins out of a team that went 16-0 with Matt Cassel?

@KidJSoul so many variables involved stop it

Nah man, the Matt Cassel argument is a weak point. Weak schedule with a great roster getting 11 wins is something a lot of coaches can do.

fukking Stefanski will fukk around and get 10 wins this year with Baker Mayfield because the Browns have an easy schedule (NFC East) and solid players like Landry and Garret.

I'm not even saying he's bad coach, just that the Matt Cassel is NOT what makes Belichick great.

Look at his Rams super bowls, the way he neutralizes other teams best players, and maximizes roster situations (albeit after shoddy drafts). Those make him good.

The Matt Cassel argument is an awful argument and always has been.

It's almost as awful of an argument as people acting like BeliGOAT and Brady both have the same exact pieces as they did last year.:manny:.

But aren't the pieces Beli's fault :mjlit:

Either way, we'll see this Sunday. Do you think we should tank this season and finally draft high? Or do you think we can right the ship if we beat Buffalo?

Yes, the pieces do have to do with Belichick. That is why many of the pieces are young.

Van Noy, Roberts, and Collins wanted to get paid. Hightower and Cannon opted out. Those aren't just mediocre pieces he's missing.

If they beat Buffalo, I think they will go for it this season. If they lose, then they will focus most of their attention to next year.

However, I better not see a single one of you guys that are going at Belichick right now, praise him over the next few years when you realize he's created a lot of cap space and draft capital to keep this team competitive every single year..

He's not doing the all in approach and never has. He builds elite teams that compete EVERY year. And, yes, Brady was the biggest part of that.
