Being on an NFL practice squad?

Do they often travel with the team or do they get to stay at home and watch the games?

Doesnt sound like a bad gig for a couple years to stack some good dough. Especially if you know ur not really on the level of the main squad players.

yup. Why study to be a doctor when you can make the same if not more by being a practice squad player? man the shyt im gonna teach my kids

I think Manuel Johnson from OU was on the Cowboys p-squad for 2-3 years....then when he got cut he went back to OU to get his masters. Not bad. I dont how much he made, but if you saved the money you can flip that into something nice.

I take these guys are still pretty good and can fill in if an injury takes place. Otherwise I don't understand how they pay a practice guy that much. ..The few I knew were living paycheck to paycheck.

Like any job, as long as you know how to stack ya paper right you'll be good. But nikkas trying to ball out every weekend will be broke all the time regardless of how much they make....
