these africans in Morocco have an aura of poverty and powerlessness so there is no consequence if they get mistreated and also you have to save some for the african governments themselves who let their citizens be treated like that and have their citizens fleeing their own country

This doesn't really surprise me at all. I suggest you guys actually read up on the Arab slave trade. Arabs have seen black people in particular as beneath them for hundreds of years. In fact, I believe the last country to formally abolish slavery was an Arab one and that was done in the 1960s.

Islam was supposed to put an end to this kind of mistreatment and supposed to make people see eachother as equals, but as usual religion gets misinterpreted and people pick and choose which part of the texts they want to follow. If you read about some of the horrific things they did to our men and women your blood will boil.

I agree with a lot of people saying that most of the world is Anti-black. You won't be safe in Asia because what they know of black people is what they get from Arab and White media, which tells them that we're poor, uneducated, and violent without giving any sort of context so people just assume that we're inherently like that. Latinos have some fukked up attitudes about us too because keep in mind that the Spanish and the Portuguese were involved in the slave trade as well.

The only people that can truly love black people are other black people, and even then white supremacy has fukked up the minds of black people. Caucasian looking blacks are exhaulted and placed on a pedestal. Women bleach their skin and relax their hair EVEN IN AFRICA! Its disgusting. There is division within the global black community and that needs to change so we can live in peace with each other. It is clear that the rest of the world only wants us as entertainment. They don't mean to have us in true positions of authority because they don't see us as being as good as them. They think that there is something ugly, something wrong, and something disgusting about blackness. They don't want to be contaminated by getting to close to what they see as a sickness.

I think the only people that non-black people could get along with would be Native Americans, Filipinos, and Pacific islanders. In my experience I've gotten along pretty well with those kinds of people, far more so than whites or any other group and those people know the pain of being mistreated by their neighbors. Natives know about getting their land taken(some natives, especially in Latin america were even enslaved and worked to death), Fillipinos are the most hated Asians in the continent, Pacific islanders also know about getting their land taken and being exploited especially the Aboriginal Australians.

Black people worldwide don't have any power, so of course nobody will respect us.

People don't love white people, but because they have power and authority others adhere.

As far as African governments, they have always been corrupt and selfish and Black/African people should not look to them to solve our problems or wait for them to "get right"...when the people change, government will change.

Serious isn't light skinned.

My dad is darker skinned and traveled, lived, dated, and worked all over the world in his 20s and 30s. The most amount of racism he experienced in his lifetime was in Texas, and he hasn't even lived here as long as he has in other places.

If African countries were stable politically and economically and weren't so corrupt the whole world would be immigrating instead Africans are leaving their countries by any means necessary. Sometimes I wish that our people could just have our own fukking section of earth and not have to worry about the affairs of everyone else. They all fukking seem to hate us anyways. Hate to be so self-deprecating but cot damn if the black race isn't the most disliked group on earth I don't know what is.

And don't get it twisted, I acknowledge that these feelings are often contradicted. I loved the support that the hispanic community gave to Obama, but I can't deny that I also feel pretty uneasy about a future where the viewers of white washed univsion have more and more presence and power. Is a majority hispanic police force really less likely to profile a black man? Will hispanic university presidents give a fukk about black enrollment and matriculation? Does more hispanic presence in the entertainment industry help or hurt blacks? Future is uncertain, I just want to know what's going to become of my people.

I often hear from blacks and other minorities say that whites are just "dividing and conquering" and that minority groups (Blacks and hispanics in particular) need to "work together" and have "common interest"....ancedotally, that doesn't seem to ring true to me.

Even on election night, I had some concerns. Heard a lot about gay politicians, women politicians, hispanic politicians....other than Obama we didn't make any strides (And as much as I hate to "go there"...dude is half white) I think Deval Patrrick is the only black governor, we have a decent history of mayors of big cities (Corey Booker being the most popular right now)...but for the most part, it's still very disappointing. Are we ever gonna get a black senator that looks like Magic Johnson? I'm happy for Tammy Baldwin (First openly gay Senator)....but I'm not sure if her victory is as much of a win for me as other progressives seem to think. We're being left out completely.
