Being uglygang or baldgang is only a problem if you’re “eccentric”. You can’t get away with having annoying quirks if you’re ugly, unsuccessful or lack the gift of gab. There has to be at least one very appealing thing about you that makes people gravitate towards you and overlook your flaws
Untrue. Men have it easy that's why women envy us so much. The only thing we gotta worry about is money and violence. Women gotta worry about self esteem and all that other stuff.
I had a short convo with a woman earlier. She was trying to convince me that me being ok with single would lead to loneliness and bitterness.
I told her that I will never become a person who feels as if "time is running out" and that "I need to snatch up SOMEBODY".
I also mentioned that finding a life partner is not the "end all, be all" for men with a purpose.
She got quiet after that. Really
I did, for almost 3 years. Not only did I date him, but he was the only man I was in love with, so far. I spoke about him before in an older post and how he had my full cooperation.
You should make a thread on what he was able to demonstrate to you to get that level of devotion.
I have been thinking about doing that, but I don't want to be ashamed that I was so in love with him. Love can be tricky to some people and if they are frustrated, people can be very dismissive and angry. You used the CORRECT term. Devoted, is the word. It was a combination of who I am, how he presented himself and how he viewed me, that led to the love. It took me just as many years (3) to get over him. God took pity on my heart and released the feelings, after he showed up at my house after those years. It's a long story.

I know what you mean about men not knowing how to "get into a woman's head"and hold it just for him. Better yet, they don't know how to get the woman to hold herself just for him. Since I've been here, I have noticed a lot of people don't like to read long posts. It's a really long story. Before I could get into what happened, I have to tell why it happened. Meaning, who I am as a person , how I was raised, who I am as a woman to a man , my views, as well as his. I don't know if this is a place that would be receptive to that. In addition, I am very private. I don't even have social media.
But,a huge factor in men finding a woman who can be devoted to him is mate selection. Men are guilty of doing the same thing that women do, trying to convert a cold/lukewarm person and make them burn hot for you.
I would say 50% of the reason I was able to be so into him was the fact that I was raised by multiple men. I had a VERY strong father and 2 of my friend's fathers, one of which I lived with during a portion of my teenage years in another state. My father was an extremely strong leader. I looked for a man to lead. I expect it. When I ran across one who was also a very strong leader, had personality and vision, we took off like lightning. The dynamic was magical. I didn't care what he looked like when I found him, I was going.

I always figured this. Woman respond best to a man who represents strong leadership.
And not just just giving orders but leading with integrity, honesty, consistency and direction.
The problem is I dont think most dudes got that sort of home training.
