Head gear minimizes the damage and risk of death so less boxers die. Unless people die on the job, the job isnt dangerous. Being a cop is more dangerous then being you. Im sorry.

Studies show head guards don't decrease the damage from punches at all. They actually increase damage because they give the head a bigger target. The only reason boxers where head guards is because they stop cuts before fights.
