The sampler is too much of headache. The sequencer I do like

I hear that, well with that said doesn't seem you have many options but do some research maybe you will find something.

Beatmaker 2 was good but it doesn't work with audiobus and other apps makes it suck now.

You can also look into something called AUM, then look for a daw like app and a sampler like app and make them work with each other through AUM.

I mean all I really need is to start the beat and then finish it up in studio one....if I can chop up a sample and play the drums I’m good

Oh so if that's all you're doing then BM2 should get the job done for sure.
