Dang I think you can only do that in impc but maybe there is a third party effect of some kind you can use as well.

Tbh I have BM3 on my ipad but never got into BM3 like that, I've been too busy to make beats. Also nah they don't have an iphone version of beatmaker 3 (yet it's been a long wait) but they have beatmaker 2 which works on iphone and it's pretty legit but a different UI. I think I like the BM2 UI better cause the BM3 one takes some getting used to and BM2 is much more straight forward.

Yeah but check out some videos of it for yourself. It will get the job done when it comes to sampling and chopping for sure. It's one of the best apps for it imo and way more stable than IMPC but the effects are kinda trash. You can always use it in audiobus or export the wavs from it to put your recordings into other apps for better mixing and etc.. As well as import sounds from synths and other apps.
Im not sure if the sound is 24bit though either if that means anything to you.
I love 3 man.... I stopped using my Mpc ren and just use beat maker and studio one

I hear that, if you love beatmaker 3 then 2 will get the job done for sure.
It's a little more fiddly but not impossible and for 20 dollars you can't go wrong. However hold on a second, I have bm2 and im gonan download it on my newer iphone and see how it works. Let me see something before you purchase it and it doesn't work because they don't update BM2 and last I used it, it was on my iphone 6.

Lol Good thing you didn't yet. I downloaded it and it works well but from the research I did it seems it doesn't work well with audiobus since Intua no longer is updating it. You may be better off with Impc pro 2 for iphone if you wanna use IAA (Inter App Audio) or Audio Units but do your research before purchasing it and see if you can use the apps you want with it.
With that said Beatmaker 2 is still a dope app and I love the sequencer in it but it not playing well with audiobus or other apps may be a deal breaker for you depending on your process.
P.S. Impc pro 2 doesn't work with audiobus either but with IAA and AU you can use other apps with it. Just depends if the app supports it which many do.

I hear that, I don't like the bugs of it but I hear it's better now. I also don't like the sampler in it, it makes the wav form look stupid.
What about it don't you like? I hear they have a better song mode now too.
The sampler is too much of headache. The sequencer I do like
