He was speaking about the timeout situation and how there are other people on the sidelines that sometimes coach the coach, and that even Belichek had a guy who would tell him what was going on in certain situations.Whats even wilder is Cam Newton was arguing to keep flus not only this season but for next season too today on First Take. That's straight up what he said. You obviously just listened to a small clip and not the whole segment OR you misremembering. He only brought up the sidelines shyt when SAS said Flus was on the sidelanes looking stupid and that was at like the END of the flus convo. This is what he said at the START of it. Bringing up Brady/Belichick, Mahomes/Reid, Jackson/Harbaugh as comparisons for Flus/Caleb
Making excuses for him talking about he is a first time HC. This is why RC listed several first time HCs with superbowl wins. Cam is also wrong when saying Flus wasnt used to being in this situation before. He was in this a couple weeks ago with the hail mary and not calling a time out. This is another time management issue and I'm sure bears fans can point to more situations like that over the years. Then I think later SAS asked Cam to name a worse coach screwup or something like that and Cam couldnt name ne1.
