I clipped the rest of his post after reading it just like you did...I didn't even see this before I responded to that shyt.

Just an unbelievable post, I was literally perplexed at such an awful take given the situation
Whats even wilder is Cam Newton was arguing to keep flus not only this season but for next season too today on First Take. He said some shyt like "as a former qb in the nfl, Im speaking for caleb and they need to keep flus". Talking about he wasnt used to being in a situation like this as a HC. Cam talking like it's his first year as a HC. Should tell everyone just because they got an MVP and played the position doesnt mean they know wtf they talking about in some aspects. :dead:

They almost beat the best team in the NFC and you saying he lost the locker room. Didn't look like it to me.

He clearly was getting fired but there wasn't a point to firing him 70% into the season. What do you gain for the 30% of the games left when your record has pretty much eliminated you from the playoffs?
read this reporting and tell me again how he didnt lose the locker room

this is as cut & dry as it gets

GM should be on the hot seat too.
That o-line is a disaster and he got zero excuses for it. Picking Odunze over a lineman was dumb. As was keeping Eberflus, which is now the third time the Bears have kept a lame duck before drafting a QB.

Why keep a defensive minded HC like that? Now Caleb gonna have three OCs in his first two seasons. That’s insane.

should've fired him at the end last season

They wanted to blame the failure of a season on the QB. That's why they kept the coach. Dumb, dumb move. Went and got some receivers but the thing a young QB needs the most... a line!

Depending on Thomas Brown's performance this won't be the case. There is a scenario where he keeps the HC job or stays as OC depending on the direction they go just to keep the continuity offensively. I can't imagine a situation where Poles doesn't have Caleb's blessing for whichever choice they make tho.

"Our hope was, because it was third [down] going into fourth, that we would re-rack that play at 18 seconds, throw it inbounds, get into field goal range and then call the timeout," the Bears head coach said.

In that situation we had a call, I got the call in, trying to get the guys back, focused on making sure everyone gets back, gets lined up," Williams said. "I know we don't have much time left, and so trying to get everybody back. I don't have a microphone to speak to coach or anything like that, so there wasn't like any huge communication in that situation. You get a call with that time, you got to try and get the guys back and get everyone lined up so you go run a play. We got lined up, got the play and then I made an adjustment because I saw the clock running down knowing that if we complete a ball inbounds or anything like that, we won't have time to kick a field goal or anything like that.

This wasn't for the players sanity it was for public optics and the blame game. Even Jerry Jones with all the crazy stuff he's doing ain't out here doing crap like this.

The Pistons in the NBA had a historically bad season last year with the previous coach and even he got to finish out the season before the team moved on.

II guess it's shyt posting to say an organization should act with a level of dignity instead of trying to make a a spectical to mask front office mistakes.

You realize that by keeping him out there, you're putting guys's health and careers on the line.

You keep losing, you're going to lose the locker room, have disengaged players and guys livelihoods are impacted by his coaching and incompetence. If you're one of the assistant coaches being associated with him could tank your chances of getting a head coaching job.

And god forbid people stop showing up to the games and their ratings and revenue suffers. Having that happen on national television was an embarrassment.

It would impact incoming free agents and everything he had to go.
