Beans had better albums because he was on a far better label that gave him the direction he needed. Give Jada Baseline Studios with Just Blaze, Kanye, and Guru and he'd have better albums than the messes that we got. From a pure rapper perspective I'd say Jada is better.

Lyrics: Kiss (Beans No Slouch)

Albums: Beans (His Projects Are Just Better Put Together)

Songs: 50/50 (Beans Has The Quality Over Kiss, Kiss Doesn’t Really Have Tracks That Evoke Emotion The Way Beans Does, But If Beans Stacked His Best And Jada Stacked His, The Kiss Pile Will Be Taller)

Legacy: Kiss (That’s No Question)

There is no beans verse that can see a kiss verse

… I fukks with beans but his rhymes are simple as shyt …. Mack , pack , gack shyt

Kiss word play crazy … they way he puts his rhymes together crazy

you truly in your heart of hearts think that sh*t? this is the most goofiest thing i've heard describing beans, it's almost like you heard "mack b*" and said, yup, that's it that's how he is. FOH with this take :what::snoop:

Jada is probably in my top 10 TODAY but ain't nobody f*ckin with PRIME BEANS. This mf was going over a lot of yalls heads and it shows. Not only the rhyme scheme was nice, but he was really saying some sh*t where no punchline at all was needed. The biggest critique of Kiss during that time was that he wasn't showing you who HE WAS or being vulnerable with the bars. BEANS gave you his HEART AND SOUL on some of these joints. At that time, nah, there was no comparison, Beans was ahead of his peers. Even got the GOAT :ahh: give him that cosign that he was better than Hov "Compared to beans you wack"

Imo beanie first 3 albums are better than any of Kiss albums

and I think State ProperTy 2 is better than any Lox album
Agree about both of these, though I do like a good amount of We Are The Streets. I’m still waiting on a top to bottom good LOX album.

Jada is a GOAT feature stealer though. He definitely has better show stealing verses than Beans.

Sucks that Beans doesn’t have his voice anymore though.

Lmaooooooooo Kiss had all types of producers and features on his first couple of albums. What are you trying to do?

You're missing the point. Jada had no real direction. He got a budget, went to Miami and recorded much of Kiss The Game Goodbye by himself. Picking trendy beats, doing tracks that didn't work, etc. Beans benefited from having multiple people in the studio to CRAFT albums. Guru telling him what lines to change, add, etc. Just Blaze making beats specifically for him. Same with Kanye coming up with hook ideas and tailoring beats for him.

Jada. Not even close imo.Never got the Beans hype. His bars never wow'd or moved me.Kiss just too slick with the bars.In that regard, the only guy I put above him is Big.

Kiss was exposed to possibly the greatest hip hop exec & rapper of all time…He was then passed off to Dee & Wah who had a hand in one of the biggest hip hop superstars ever who released a great debut. Kiss clearly had a budget. That’s why he was reaching out to the people he did. So if Kiss reached out to all those people that had shyt working at the time and it resulted in what it did then who is at fault. A case can be made Ruff Ryders was a more successful imprint than the Roc so the idea he wasn’t in the right hands is wild

I stand by my statement, which I'm surprised is getting pushback. Jada isn't X, he wasn't delivering great hooks on a near song for song basis. Him, Beans, Bleek, Styles, etc are all spitters who needed help writing SONGS. Beans had better help than Jada, and the result was better albums. Seems simple to me.

Jada had a great budget. What did he do with it? Recorded in Miami, bought beats that were made with Jay and bigger rappers in mind, and made a bunch of questionable tracks that no one pushed back on or touched up. I respect Dee and Wah but nobody is gonna tell you they were like Kanye, Just Blaze, Guru, or even Irv. And Swizz is wack so...yea.
