Yeah, I made a mistake in my original post. The 3rd guy took her home and tried to hush her
I think instances like this, innocent before proven guilty will always win out, which means the men will mostly goninnocent. I believe in the UK a convicted rape cases are going down and is leading to women not reporting that they’ve been raped
It’s crazy. I don’t know if rape is becoming more common or what, but 4 women I’ve had serious relationships with have been raped and none have reported it.

Thousands of women have been raped and don’t report it. Could be your mother, grandmother, aunty etc. People find out later in life that their grandmothers were raped by their great grandfathers or by a preacher or family friend. It’s so fukked up, and then you have men that instantly get defensive the minute you mention rape, like calm down women are the ones that live in fear of rape.

The thing I find odd is they said they took her home to prevent her from going to the police... I would think she would have been trying to go to the hospital.
I asked my Irish friend why she thinks the girl didn’t go straight to the police, she says she probably waited to go to the sexual health clinic(The procedure may be different in Ireland). I don’t understand why she didn’t go straight to the police station. I also don’t know if they do rape examinations at the station. But as far as I am aware she followed protocol.
I do think the third guy accompanied her home to see her state of mind. He was the buffer between the men and the girl. He would have never messaged her in the morning to find out if she was ok if something horrific hadn’t happened.

Irish sportsmen Paddy Jackson and Stuart Olding were acquitted by a jury of eight men and three women yesterday following a nine-week trial at Belfast Crown Court.
They were accused of sexually assaulting a woman when they went back to Jackson's flat after a night out in the capital city.
The court heard the pair were in a WhatsApp group which discussed having a 'spit roast' and said sex with the woman was 'like a merry-go-round'.
But just hours after they were cleared, in response to the wider issues raised by the case and in support of the woman and others in a similar position, thousands of people tweeted #IBelieveHer.
The hashtag was trending in the UK, Ireland and worldwide and this afternoon a rally outside the Laganside courthouse took place along with others in Derry, Cork, Limerick, Galway and Dublin. Tonight a much smaller group of protesters have gathered in Marble Arch in London.

So i’m supposed to excuse it because it happened to a white woman. So rape only affects them? Is rape that happens to black women called something different? By your logic you shouldn’t benefit from any of the laws brought about to change humanity for the better because white ppl may have been involved.
