People do desperate things when they are guilty of a crime they are accused of otherwise why go the extra lengths to bury a body or the other things people do to get rid of evidence.

Sounds suspect to me. If I was having sex with some strange girl and she started to bleed I might be a bit put off. One of the other guys saw what was going on and asked if he could join in. I don’t disagree with your point at all but surely we can’t leave it at only the people involved know what happen otherwise justice will never be served.
