I guess I'll get it on the off chance people flock to it.

A messaging app is only as good as the number of people on it. BBM's name will either be a gift (as nostalgic people flock back to a platform they loved...and EVERYONE who used it loved it) or it'll be a curse (as people clown it for being dead).

If it's a good app, I hope people flock back, it'll be good to have a dominant messaging app that everyone uses.

BTW to skip the wait just open the app, enter your email, hit next or continue, whatever, and quickly force close it, I repeat, quickly. If you do it right the next time you do it, it should work.

I think it would be more disastrous to release it, overwhelm the servers and have people calling it out the gate.


They should've instituted a Google-like invite system, cuz any messaging system is shytty if your friends ain't on it.

You gotta do it really fast. Before the screen changes. I mean like shorter than a split second. It's almost impossible.

But yeah, why would BB make people jump through hoops like that? They should be trying everything to get back in the peoples' good graces.
