Saulo Riberio has a book of jiu jitsu fundamentals that was suggested to me from my first coach. It will absolutely keep you from getting submitted. My last class I came in after a brief hiatus and I rolled with a blue belt who had to stop because he couldn't find a way to submit even though he kept getting positional advantages.
