No offence but this is a pretty ridiculous post breh.

I was thinking that too but I see what he meant in that Ninja Garden and DMC had a clear misstep in the franchise that was poorly received (NG 3 and DMC 2).

I thought GOW was consistent though. Even if the story fell off a fukking cliff in III with that nonsense ending

Yeah DMC 2 became a clusterfukk the more you went on even though it had the best designed Dante in the franchise.
NG3 taking away the flying swallow after tomonubu itagaki got fired fukked up the series.
GOW had less unique boss fights, which kinda of pissed me off seeing how epic the first one was but it had a different director so I understand. All of them did actually.

Bayonetta 2 was the GOAT beat-em-up action game of it's generation and had hella promotion (bayonetta was even given a spot in smash bros) and still managed to flop on the WiiU. You can't blame Platinum's style either, since they just got off developing the combat for a game from an arguably more niche series that did 2 million.

The salty people may have a point with bayonetta not being a good fit for Nintendo if we are being reality:yeshrug:
Game will be legit no matter where it is though

Bayonetta was put in Smash Bros. way, way after Bayonetta 2 came out. Over a year later. Obviously that wasn't gonna have much of an effect on sales being so far removed from the game's release

Who cares if it's a good fit? Without Nintendo Bayonetta 2 & 3 don't exist, simple as that.

'good fit for Nintendo'

They're trying to diversify I think. It's bad to only rely on Mario, Zelda and Pokemon. They need more prominent IPs (i.e.: Splatoon, Xenoblade, Bayonetta, Fire Emblem)
