The Bay
the bay is one of the most expensive, if not the most expensive places in the country breh...if you can get a job and some roommates, it's possible to get by but might be a struggle....

I say do it! That is if you really want to. Better than 10 years from now looking back wondering what if's. Its expensive to live just about everywhere excluding the south. What do you have to lose? You have family support so if it gets rough just move back.

yes.

but i did it twice anyway. my first run was a year, my second one started 6 months after and ive been here 2 /12 years now.

if you wanna move up here your best bet is in the eastbay. preferably oakland or berkeley. forget about living in the city.

I'd say to do it if you have savings. Plus you got experience. If you get a roommate house mate temporarily then you'll be aight. You can pay about 450-700 a month for a decent place. Getting ya own place might be crazy expensive tho. Sharing is cheaper

Considering doing this next year, but I have nothing lined up. :lupe:

I've had phone interviews for a handful of places there, but nothing ever materialized and I'm sure not being near the area had a lot to do with it.

I know it's the most expensive place in the country and money would go quick there. There always seem to be jobs around there I'm qualified for when I look on Indeed.

Any advice? :ld:
Line something up now.
Cost of living is so high, you can be a homeless guy with a full-time job. Pretty sad situation.
