Yezzzir! The festival at the lake used to crack. And nobody was fonkin or trippin on anybody. Nyggaz from all over the bay would come out with their freshest whips (old schools, luxury etc) I was a young nygga and my uncles & cousins used to go out there. So many nyggaz in candy cougars, mustangs, skylarks on daytons & vouges. Sad part is the festival t the lake will NEVER happen again. The town has too much fonk for that ever to happen

Who remembers Hiphop on the green at estuary park? Or Lake Berryessa? The amount of bishes that used to be at Lake Berryessa was crazy. It was like a mini freaknic.

Oakland was trying to push a plan called Coliseum City, it was basically a plan to keep all the teams in the area and to do what you mentioned which was to redevelop the coliseum area, but it was going to cost millions so I think the idea flopped

yea damn that pic looks sick. oakland shooting themselves in the foot with all this red tape, they need to make this sht happen. they would revitalize that whole area around the coliseum the same way the giants fixed up china basin which was just as shtty before att park.
a new stadium for the a's = hella bandwagon fans goin to the stadium just cuz its new. im a giants fan but i got nothin against the A's i want them to stay in oakland and get their own sht there.

All y'all cats saying part ain't coming to San Jose is ill informed. My boy works for the construction company contracted with it and they are already close to finishing to warm springs with the next phase to San Jose starting in 2 years. Just accept it...as soon as the Giants end there hate the stadium next to HP Pavilion will go thru....it has the funding...its backed by too many dotcoms with the big dawg being Cisco. Its going to be the most technology advanced stadium in the world.
