TYRONE GA!
minus rdj any of these dudes can be replaced
if some random buff white guy became captain america would anyone give a damn?

Yeah they would. Evans has made himself an Icon as Cap and gave the character a solid place in pop culture going forward. He made Cap relevant....something no one really would have saw coming.

I think at this point, the most irreplaceable person in the MCU is Chadwick Boseman. Evans and Downey were at that level, but now they're nearing a natural end to their run anyway. Hemsworth is also at that level but i don't know if they plan on doing anymore Thor movies either. None of them would be recast, but they could be written out.

Now people like Tom Holland, Mark Ruffalo, easily recast. Go miles morales, and retire Peter Parker, Go Perma Hulk or Professor Hulk and just use a voice actor full time instead of having a Banner.

Bautista is the best thing in that franchise. The character is nothing special, but he sells it very well.

I low key hope this kills off the guardians franchise. They are starting to turn the MCU into Starwars. I liked it better when everyone was on earth kicking and punching each other.

lol no I would love a cosmic side of the MCU. But to a degree I'm glad Gunn is no longer helming it. I liked GotG but think it is a tad overrated. And really the sequel is like the worst MCU movie to date.

In a sense, Disney is in the driver's seat here because this type of "controversy" isn't racial or #metoo, and parents aren't exactly going to be outraged that a twitter pedo got canned...

Basially none of this will affect the bottom line of A4, SM:FFH, BP2, or how hyped next year's comicon crowd will be when Feige unveils phase 4 and the likely Fox acquisitions.

So just kinda comes down to how badly does Disney feel a need for one more GotG movie to complete it's trilogy. And perhaps one factor may be how much stock their placing on Captain Marvel doing well, because that's their other back door/front door to the cosmic side.
