Why yall acting like Bautista needs this role? He doesn't. He's the best actor out of the entire crew and proved that with his role in Blade Runner 2049. He has an extremely promising career ahead of him, regardless of GOTG
He needs this role more than any studio needs him. That's just the harsh reality of it.

They really don't need each-other at all, and I'm sure Bautista knows this. I mean obviously you can say he needs it more than Disney, but imo Bautista is about to blow up something fierce on the acting scene. I'm hoping Villeneuve uses him in Dune

I liked Bautista's 5 minutes of screentime in Blade Runner 2049, but dude is most definitely not moving the needle in Hollywood to be able to chuck the deuces to Disney with no repercussions. I checked his IMDB, he's got nothing but straight to dvd action flicks on the docket. I personally like the loyalty he's showing to the director(while finding the director himself to be deserving of getting his ass fired) who was part of his biggest success in the industry, but this is dumb as hell. Robert Downey Jr is the only cat Disney would flinch at having to replace, and he's gone soon anyway. This is not the hill to die on for breh
