Why is there even a debate?
Disney made the right call.
And wasn't GOTG2 a let down?
Bautista thinks they won't find another brute meathead to play Drax.
And Gunn is the only writer/director that can do a GOTG movie? Is this so?
This is Marvel/Disney. They print money right now. Long as you got StarLord, Groot, Zoe, and Rocket, they gonna be aight. Shoot, as long as you got Fiege, Marvel gonna be aight.
Disney could shut the whole thing down
They have IW 2 on the way. They got Black Panther. Captain Marvel and her women's movement on the way. X-Men back in the fold. Fantastic Four. Deadpool ( ).
Guardians 2 made more money than the first homie so from a studio standpoint thats never a let down. And I loved it so
Also like I said before, they're not dropping a 1.4 billion dollar franchise. They'll figure out a way to move forward with the third one, it'll probably be the last hurrah for those characters under that brand, and they'll move on. Disney has never ever ever ever done anything to make anyone here think they don't want money. They won't throw something away because of a director or a creative issue behind the scenes; they will find a way to rape every franchise they have for every single penny it can get
