Also, LOL @ that old battleship they were on at the end doing what could only be described as a Fast and the Furious style e-brake drift in the water after they dropped anchor.

I was entertained, though. It should have done better than it did at the box office. All the talk about it flopping certainly isn't because it was a bad movie, per se. Worse movies have done much better.

The writing is what REALLY made the movie . Other than that the movie wasn't all that bad.

I figured a movie based off of a board game wouldn't work unless it was a comedy like that "Clue" movie from back in the day. I bet The "Candyland" movie with Adam Sandler will fare much better.

lets be real for a second though
the biggest thing stopping me from seeing this movie is the fukkin fact that they named it after the game

it doesn't resemble ANYTHING of the game IMO, and the fact that that they thought they could play on the name thinkin we are stupid just makes me laugh.

NOW, if they would have named it something different, like RObot space aliens vs army boats (yeah fukk the navy) then I'd probably go out and see it.

but now??, its just a DL...
