The crushed out blacks make it appear like the XBone version looks better, but their images have a lack of detail compared to the PS4 version. It's like going into Best Buy and they jack up the contrast ratio on the TVs.

Okay this screenshot shows the difference with aliasing on each version. The jaggies over on the Xbox One pic look terrible. That structure looks like it's literally not even fully touching itself.
The jaggies are much more pronounced on the Xbox One version. Look at the powerlines on the right pic. In all honesty it ain't like you gonna have both of them playing side by side so.
jaggies...lol. The PS4 version looks washed out compared to the XO version.

I guess xbox one has an upscaler built in that helps make the image have a deeper contrast and sharper looking textures, even when the resolutions lower

Tiled Resources isn't a DirectX exclusive. It already existed on OpenGL.
In motion a regular nikka won't even really notice all that.
Breh, just look at the image in the youtube video in your first post. The building has detail to it in the PS4 version and the XBone version looks like the whole thing is in a shadow.
The darkness (extra contrast) covers up the lack of detail in the XBone version.

I'm being as unbiased as can be right now. Xbox One version looks darker to make up for loss detail and jaggies but look slightly crispier while the PS4 version has better detail and effects at a higher resolution though slightly blurred. My choice??
